The previous edition of the fair took place on March 12, 2008 also at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade, Serbia. It attracted over 500 visitors and 14 international business schools from 7 European and North American countries (Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and USA) that are active in the area. They demonstrated their MBA, MIB and other graduate business programs to eager MBA-seekers. A leading-edge management training consultancy from the USA, FranklinCovey, a General Sponsor of the event, introduced their personal productivity and execution program of executive management training family of programs. Several Schools presented their programs in a well-attended half-hour long series of presentations within the “Private Presentation Program.”
It is interesting to note an increasing trend in the quality of the visitors. Namely the visitors are now more mature. The average age is 29.6 years as compared to the previous year’s 28. They are predominantly employed and have more working experience as well: this year 6.7 years as compared to the last year’s 4.3. The gender ratio is also becoming more balanced, for every 6 male visitors, there were 4 women
The show was officially opened by Ms. Milka Forcan, a prominent business leader and the Delta Holding Vice President. She stressed the importance of the business and the academia going hand-in-hand in order to produce high-quality business professionals.
